Hout Bay View Boutique Hotel

The hotel experience started right at the entrance. The relaxing music in and around the hotel with a beautiful garden and view gives the atmosphere. The owner gave us a good tour and tips to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good. The view was phenomenal. A safe place to relax. Albert and Gracia

This place is an absolute gem! Stayed 5 nights, waking each morning to the most spectacular window to the world. Hout Bay Views slogan is “A view with a room” and it delivers on all fronts. The location, view and service were superb and I will 100% return. Everything is spotlessly clean, well designed and the breakfast is ample and cooked fresh each morning. Check it out for yourself you will be glad you did!

Unfortunate experience - two days after having found myself locked out at night because no one had given me access code, am still waiting to hear from hotel management. I expect as a minimum refund on the one night I had to sleep elsewhere and taxi expenses. And even more disappointing to read the hotel management’s response to my review with defamatory comment about wine drinking etc. Bad faith, lies and misogynistic comment when I realize that Drew fooled me saying the manager on duty (actually his husband) was out of reach and that he had to refer the matter to him. Which I did to no avail apart from these unacceptable comment. What a disgraceful experience !
