Just got back from a stay at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Pattaya JC, and I have to say, it was a really comfortable experience. My room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff were absolutely amazing – super helpful and friendly. The rooftop pool had gorgeous views, perfect for relaxing, and the grab-and-go was super convenient. The beach is just a short walk away, about 230m. It's worth noting that there's no gym or other facilities, but I found a gym (better bodies gym) 7 minutes away. The location is a bit far from central Pattaya, but the vibe was nice and relaxed. There are some great restaurants nearby, and a 7/11 is just a 6-minute walk away for anything you need. I'd definitely recommend using the Grab app (like Uber for Asia) to get around. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable and relaxed stay!
A modern, aesthetically pleasing hotel with good value overall. Strong points include a comfortable bed, rooftop pool, and basic in-room amenities. Dislike: -Check-in was delayed until 16:15 despite my arrival before 15:00 -The property has no breakfast venue—just a golf cart to the main facility, which was overcrowded by 09:00 with line queue -Cleanliness was below expectation: coffee stains, dusty flooring, and no bathrobe—contrary to what the listing promises. -Rooftop small pool is attractive (Just for picture) but gets packed with children, diminishing adult enjoyment -The walls between rooms are extremely thin. I could hear every bit of noise from the adjacent room with the headboard next to my bed, including person-to-person conversation, movement, and even body noises like someone passing gas.
Stayed two nights. The room was clean and the cleaning staff were polite and easy to talk to, that part was solid. Lobby coffee and Thai tea were both bad, and the rooftop pool wasn’t clean. Didn’t try the breakfast (not included), but food options were available for purchase. Limited parking underground, but there’s a larger lot outside. Overall, decent value for money compared to other hotels in this area, though there’s room for improvement on facilities and drinks.
