Howlong Golf Resort

We spent 2x nights at the Golf Resort. The room was large and comfortable with good kitchenette and breakfast supplies. Our room was serviced. The Howlong club and golf course were moments away. The food was good. We played Bingo on Tuesday night with the locals. The golf course was in good condition and it was an easy flat course to walk with some interesting holes. All the staff we came in contact with were outstanding. They were so happy to help way beyond the basic requirements. Whilst we were there we also did the local wetlands walk and sculpture walk. Highly recommended

My partner and I wanted a change from staying in Albury and what a find this place is. Not far from Albury if you have events to attend. Great local pubs and cafes down road. The hotel is a older style with a few rooms renovated but remember all profits go into the community. As for the rooms, great size and well setout so you aren't on top of each other, bathroom isn't small with a decent space for your bathroom stuff, shower is excellent. Small kitchenette ( no cooking ) and small dining room table. Beds are two king size singles and very comfortable. Sofa to watch TV which if you hate watching TV in bed like us. Managers were lovely and chatty which is always lovely but the bonus was their two lovely dogs who love attention. Pool was close ( well it is winter) but there is a BBQ and if you love golf of course the golf course and club house to which we didn't use.

Room was nice & clean & fresh. Bed was terrible all you could feel was steel bars as it was a stupid split bed couldn't even get near my wife. Toilet was way out of date didn't work properly & hardly flushed . shower head was a cheap crap one that put out bugger all water. It's a shame as it was a nice place these things let it down.
