Hs Hotsson Hotel Acapulco

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and we genuinely enjoyed it. Given, the hotel had just undergone some renovations, and the rooms were barely ready for our arrival, it was still in good shape for our stay. I really enjoyed the view from the room. The staff was super amazing and always so nice! They made our stay 100x better even though there was a slight language barrier. I will say on some nights they had a live band playing, and it went on until about 1 AM in the morning, which made it very hard to get a good nights rest, especially after touring and sightseeing on our feet all day. There is also some noise because the boulevard that the hotel is on is extremely busy at all times so be prepared for that. Otherwise we had the all-you-can-eat package and unless you’re a super picky eater, it was delicious, you just have to choose what works for you. As for drinks, depending on who’s making them, they can be strong enough to your liking;)

This hotel definitely has areas for improvement. The bathroom in our room had a really bad odor, and they forgot to put the shower curtain. Restaurants inside the hotel could improve service and food. It is always better to eat outside. Also, at the pools, if you want to use the towels, you have to make a deposit of $200 pesos for each towel you will use. I understand security, but they have gone a little bit overboard with everything around the hotel.

Location is great but wow customer service needs some work. My friends room was dirty and gross when he arrived. They were super rude about it and just made him stay in the room and they got people to clean it again. Super super rude people everywhere. I'm a local here and aware of all the other hotels. They wouldn't let us visit our friend, lied about the cost of the day pass. Go somewhere else with nice service. There are so many better hotels in Acapulco. Eesh
