The room is clean, well maintained, all provided incl umbrella, what is missing just a toothbrush, they only provide the paste. Breakfast was good. Location is awesome, the metro station is just a few steps from hotel

Twelve at Hengshan is a beautiful luxury hotel with exceptional service and stunning rooms. The pool and gym are fantastic—both modern and well-equipped. The location is perfect for exploring Shanghai, and the staff is attentive and friendly. The only disappointment was the steam room not working. But overall, an amazing stay with everything else top-notch. Highly recommend!

Stayed at 12@Hengshan recently, my experience was a bit underwhelming. The location is fantastic—right next to Hengshan train station, which made getting around very convenient. The garden view from my room was beautiful, and despite being in the city, it was pleasantly quiet. However, I had several issues during my stay. The room had a faint smell of cigarettes, which was off-putting. Housekeeping was also disappointing—I found hair left behind and noticed the hand towel was just tossed in the basin cleaning. Additionally, the housekeeping left the empty amenities while replenishing. The hotel overall feels a bit old and could use some updating. The biggest problem was the automatic toilet, which self-cleaned a few times during the night, completely disrupting my sleep. It was really frustrating. On a positive note, the concierge was very helpful and attentive.
