I had such a great experience at this hostel, thanks largely to Eugene at the front desk! He was incredibly welcoming, informative, and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. Whether it was local recommendations, helpful tips, or just a friendly chat, Eugene’s hospitality truly made my stay better. The hostel itself was great, but it’s staff like Eugene who make all the difference. Thanks again for your kindness and professionalism—I’d definitely stay here again just because of the amazing service!
Free trolley. It's hot in the rooms and the food is for breakfast ; bowl of cereal and pieces of toast. Dinner is a tv dinner. Yes it's a dual hostel/homeless center. There are people begging for cigs all day long. But security is good and it was clean and ran smoothly considering the amount of people there. Most roommates were great. Cant beat the price and the location. There are free trolleys that will take you all over North and South Beach and the Ocean and Bay are close by. I stayed there for 2 weeks for $220. It's definitely was worth the money spent.
Avoid at all costs!!! Booked for a week. Arrived at 10 PM. Checked in. Went upstairs to find an absolute homeless shelter situation. I was refused a refund. Again, unless you are homeless in need of a roof and bed do not stay here. It's really that bad!
