Huinid Pioneros Hotel

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and clean, and had a small refrigerator and a safe. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom had ample space and plenty of soap, shampoo, and towels. We saw other guests on our floor but the room was quiet. We initially had a room facing trees at the rear of the hotel but upgraded to a lake-view room and it was worth the small additional charge. The view was wonderful. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with lots of options, including plenty of fruit and pastries. The restaurant for other meals, and the bar, is down the hill at the sister hotel, but van service is offered to move guests between the buildings. Our dinners were quite good. Service overall was excellent and friendly, including at the front desk, in the restaurant, and housekeeping. The pool area is adequate, although it got crowded at times. Be aware that the hotel complex is on a steep hill and walking up from the road below can be strenuous.

It's kind of remote with no stores or restaurants within a 20 minute walk except for the two onsite. But the view is great and it is quiet. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was quite good.

Excellent room cleaning service. Excellent breakfast. Very good food at the restaurant, but servers are not well trained.Front desk male personnel needs much more training. Some of them are not prepared to handle situations, and it is not professional. Our room on the 4rd floor did not have air conditioning. Front desk manager and cleaning services are the ones that take the price. Job very well done to them!
