Guest Reviews 4.5 / 5
I'd rate this property a 4.5, as some elements could be improved on. We did have some issues with housekeeping on the first day, (they hadn't cleaned the room by 5pm but once we called down they were always quick to respond and fix the problem. Easy check in and check out, great team, a special shout out to our concierge Kevin! Pool area is a bonus although very busy during our stay. Lovely outdoor terrace bar for drinks and snacks. Plus a great cafe in the hotel for sandwiches and croissants! Perfectly located 10 min walk to Old Montreal and 15 minute walk to the heart of downtown shopping. Definitely would return!
The hotel is in a great location. 15 min to old Montreal and close to downtown. The rooms are nice and clean. There were some minor room cleaning glitches no soap, no toilet paper, no floor matt. The rooms are a good size and pretty quiet. The pool was a little disappointing. Only 8 chairs and I paid $22 for a water and can of coke. In the lobby theirs a really good cafe for croissants and coffee. The hotel staff is very friendly. Which brings me to Kevin. Every hotel would be lucky to have a Kevin. He goes above and beyond for you and you can tell it’s not because he works there. It’s his personality. He’s the reason the front desk runs so well as he multi tasks while making every guest feel special. Nice guy too! Humaniti I hope you pay him well or you’re going to lose him and that would be a shame because I really liked our stay at your hotel and so did our US guests.
Be cautious of the collective theft behavior among cleaners caused by their management mistakes. Our group of 30 stayed here and booked about 15 rooms. One of my friends had a lot of cash stolen because he forgot to lock the safe. I initially booked my room for two nights, then extended it for one more night, and was told I needed to change rooms. In a rush to pack my luggage, I left my necklace under the table by the TV. In just two hours, I called the manager and was told that the cleaners had found guests' lost items but not specifically what those items were. After an hour, when I called back, I was informed that housekeeping hadn’t found anything. I requested to know who cleaned the room during those two hours, but the management was very uncooperative and rudely told me they could not disclose who had cleaned that room. Additionally, another couple of friends were charged $600 for parking. If they hadn’t carefully checked their bill, they wouldn’t have realized they were overcharged. The management and service at this hotel are truly outrageous. While the location is great and the hotel appears modern, the interior is quite low-quality, the rooms are very small, and we found a few other persons’s hairs on our bed. So Gross. And the service is very poor. Management doesn’t do their job so well. Receptionist are not friendly and very slow. The price of this hotel does not match its actual value for money, so be wary. We will never ever choose or recommend this hotel.
