Humber Royal Hotel

Booked in for a large family event here. What it looks like from the outside does not reflect what you find inside at all! Service was fast and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious with good views of the golf course next door! Food was lovely, we pre-ordered ours as it was a party of 19! I had the Rump Steak which was delicious and the peppercorn sauce was perfect! Good night's sleep and left feeling refreshed after a hearty breakfast! Would recommend! :)

Rooms are great, really big, and the beds comfy. All of the staff are really helpful and friendly, make you feel welcome. Great views over the golf course. The food is really good, lots of selection, freshly cooked and again, service super polite and helpful. It’s a bit dated in The outside but don’t let that put you off. Thank you to Jason and the team there, 5 stars for you all.

From outside, this looks like a secondary mod school. But actually the interior and rooms are very good. The electric charging for your car was a great disappointment. It was around the back where you had to try and download an app on your phone, and an unknown cost would become evident upon getting involved! Needless to say, none were in use, and the previous hotel we went used It was complimentary. We paid for full English breakfast included, but no one took an order or directed us about the system, so we had to make do with bits we could scratch together ourselves in what amounted to a sort of self served continental breakfast. Apart from these disappointments, overall it was really quite nice.
