My stay at the hotel was for tourism, and honestly, it was one of the most luxurious and memorable experiences I’ve ever had. The cleanliness was absolutely outstanding — everything was spotless and perfectly maintained. As for the staff? I can confidently say they are the best in the world. Professional, courteous, and incredibly attentive — the level of customer service made me feel like a true VIP throughout my stay. The location is excellent — close to all major attractions, peaceful, and offers breathtaking views. One of the absolute highlights was the food. Every meal was a delight, and I genuinely believe the hotel restaurant serves the most delicious cuisine in the entire country. The variety, quality, and presentation were nothing short of top-tier. What truly sets this hotel apart is their exceptional handling of situations. I arrived earlier than my check-in time, and not only did they allow me to check in early, but they also upgraded me to a larger room than the one I originally booked. Later, when I experienced a bit of noise from a nearby room with a small child, I mentioned it to the staff — they immediately apologized and upgraded me again to their best available room! That level of care and attention is extremely rare to find. In short, this was an extraordinary stay from beginning to end, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and impeccable service

We visited Hunas Falls Hotel for a lunch date, and I must say, it was beyond extraordinary. The food was delicious, but what truly stole the show was the breathtaking view. A special mention to Mr. Wasantha, the manager who assisted us with such warmth and attention to detail. The entire staff was equally friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene escape with great food and even better service.

A Magical Stay at Hunas Falls – Truly Unforgettable! My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Hunas Falls Hotel, Kandy on the 3rd of May, and it was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had. We arrived around 4:30 PM without having made an advance payment—just a simple phone booking—and yet, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality imaginable. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with genuine kindness and care. Traveling with my wife, my parents, and our 7-month-old baby, we were particularly touched by how attentive and accommodating everyone was. They even prepared special meals for our infant, which meant a lot to us. The room was exceptionally comfortable, and the balcony view was nothing short of breathtaking—a serene, panoramic landscape straight out of a postcard. The hotel’s private waterfall, Upper Hunas Falls, and the surrounding environment made us feel like we were in a little piece of paradise. Though occupancy was low during our stay and we were on a set menu, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff graciously served us more when requested. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. One of the most remarkable things was their understanding and flexibility. We ended up checking out almost three hours late, but instead of rushing us, they patiently gave us the space we needed, especially considering we had a baby with us. It’s that level of empathy and professionalism that truly sets Hunas Falls apart. From the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, to the stunning natural beauty and the friendly, always-smiling staff, everything was five-star. Without a doubt, I give this hotel a 5 out of 5 rating, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway with family or loved ones.
