Hunchy Hideaway

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here. We stayed in Gumnut cottage and loved it. Nestled in the forest you are surrounded by trees and all the sounds of the forest. The cottage was immaculate and has everything we needed. Spa bath was beautiful overlooking the forest, bed was comfortable and the breakfast foods provided were beautiful. Great location - 2 minutes from Montville and plenty of places to explore. The owners are lovely and are in contact before and after your stay. Highly recommend. We've just had the best 4 days away at Hunchys Hideaway celebrating our 27th Wedding Anniversary. Absolutely loved everything about our stay. The Gumnut Cabin is amazing. Well done to Jack and Lana on hosting a great spot. So private and peaceful. We will definitely be back. Loved it.

My husband and I spent our much needed weekend getaway at Hunchy Hideaway and also booked the Romantic Package, which we highly recommend. The communication from start to finish was amazing and nothing was confusing or an issue. Friday we had our cheese platter and wine, nice soak in a very clean spa. Rose petals made it that extra lovely dovey feel. Saturday, per the package we enjoyed a relaxing 1 hour massage. A few hours later we were picked up from an awesome down to earth driver and taken to Montville Cafe Bar & Grill. The food was out of this world. The atmosphere was fantastic. Baz (possum) came for a visit and enjoyed some grapes on the deck that night. Thanks again for everything. We will be back and have raved on to so many people since returning back home to reality. I think an extra night would have been amazing but work awaits haha
