Modern, nicely renovated. We stayed at the East wing with AI. Pros in the room were: bathroom and WC was in separate rooms, wardrobes were spacious, bed was comfy. I understand the concept of eco-friendly in case of bathroom supplies, but I really missed a good body lotion. Bergamott and verbena scented soaps are devine. The design of the room contains a lot of black where you can see the dust. The hotel is right next to the spa, you can go over in q corridor which is super nice. Meals were tasty and the options were enough to choose frome. Child friendly accomodation.
The hotel was clean, the food was simple, but every dinner was quite nice and well planned even within a seemingly tight budget-cudos to the chef for this, he is doing a marvelous job. As in other hotels, due to the pandemic, there were several breakfast "groups" to limit the number of people being in the same room, therefore in any group you have a 45 minute frame to consume your meals. The spa was okay (the hotel also has its own inner pool), its convenient that the hotel is connected to the thermal bath of the town. The robes received for spa wear are changed in every 6 days. Due to full capacity, room cleaning has to be requested either at reception or by door hanger. Rooms could do with a bit of restyling or renovation. Overall service was always very nice and hotel staff polite and helpful. We also got welcome drinks that was a nice touch upon arrival. Considering that breakfast, dinner, parking and spa day entry was included in the price of our room, this hotel has a good price/offer ratio.
We were given dirty bathrobes, with stains, which at the reception they refused to change. They said it was because of thermal water, which was not true, the stains were from filth, but they never bothered to even check. I found this digusting but was not in mood to argue. We payed just under 200 € a day, the least they could do to make a client happy is to change the robes. Another thing is that they force all inclusive option on you, which is rediculous, why not have half board option too ? The food was good and the restaurant staff professional and friendly, we only ate breakfast and dinner, we were not interested in all day eating. The receptionists were stiff and not friendly, maybe this was a language issue but we did not feel welcome. They asked us to pay in advance because " we came off the street". The room was rather small but clean. The managment should organise English language courses for their employees and improve the over all service. This is a 3 and a half star hotel. The reason we stayed was the fact that was directly connected with to thermal baths.
