Hutton Hotel

Had a nice stay here after a canceled flight. They were more than accommodating and helpful. Thank you very much to the people that work the night time shift because she was extremely kind. If you’re able too stay in the penthouse suite, it was nice to see the city

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel itself and policies could use some improvement. Our room (deluxe king) was pretty small for just the two of us. Nice bathroom, clean overall except for some stains on the sheets that were not washed out. The real concern was the fact that additional fees were not included in the price at the time of booking. Parking is $55/day for valet and over $50/day for the parking garage. They should be more straightforward about these additional costs online in my opinion.

Honestly for the price you are truly paying for a average or sometimes below average experience. The two ladies at the front desk had what seemed like a pretty bad relationship between them. One was professional and quiet and the other kinda rude and annoyed at to her. I of course got charged a fee that I was not told about beforehand and sent on my way. At the room I found a light in the bathroom to be out ( nothing crazy but still did not get fixed during any of the days I stayed there). I also never got an email confirming my reservation which was kind of weird. Now here comes the worst part about this stay, and the reason why I gave it such a low review: The AC in the room barely worked. The AC was set to the lowest strength possible without possibility to change, and even though I had it at 62 ( which should have been a freezing temperature ) felt like a 70-72. I called multiple times as the room felt hot and uncomfortable, and kind of claustrophobic specially at night. They would take around an hour to send somebody up and not help me out at all. When checking out the lady at the desk asked me if I enjoyed the stay which I replied with a “meh” and she could not have cared less about the answer. Then I went to check out the breakfast place and was met by the most depressing guy at the counter so decided to just leave who truly could not care less if I left or stayed. If you find somewhere else for same price or cheaper I would recommend, next time I come to Nashville I will stay somewhere else. Best thing about this stay is I realized there is a courtyard right across the street! Important to note that the valet parking and housekeeping staff were extremely nice and welcoming!
