We really enjoyed our stay at Huttopia on the Dordogne. We arrived immediately after a huge storm and the team on site spent the few days we were there tidying everything back up. We were impressed with the layout and organisation of the site and will not hesitate to return. Super hot weather so it was great to be able to cool off at the edge of the river. Great walks around, and village close to site. Everything you need really!
This is a most excellent campsite! We spent 6 nights here on a riverside pitch, in our motorhome. So many positives, fantastic location, clean toilet & shower facilities, helpful & friendly staff, spacious encampments & beautiful surroundings. My only negative is that we could not see any signage to redirect to the alternative entrance, avoiding the low bridges, if your vehicle is taller than 3 meters. But otherwise a fantastic site.
Lovely campsite right on the river. We had a lovely shady pitch (which was very needed in the hot weather we experienced). Lovely pool and comfortable loungers. Staff very helpful. The campsite was quite busy because of its location, however not noisy and we were able to relax quietly. The shower block nearest us had some shower cubicles blocked 'out of use' meaning that there was a bit of queuing.
