Relaxing camping with enough activities for our family of 5. Stunning view from our cabin, would recommend for families with younger kids.

Great quiet camping with cosy tent spots and other more luxurious cabins for rent. Daily activities for kids every morning in the summer, a common area with family games and sport equipment to loan or rent. Kids had a lot of fun in the pool, too, and the breakfast and home made pizzas were a great option for the first evening/morning since we hadn't bought food yet. The only 2 minor things for us with a tent was the lack of water fountains for cooking and the very hard soil, which needed a little more time to set up the tent. But there are special kits for sale at the reception to solve that. There are a lot of things to do and visit in the area, which makes it a great holiday spot.

Could have been a nice site with good amenities. Young lady at reception was very good and calm despite being on her own at a busy period - 3 ASCI arrivals in front - don't know why there's no facility for this to be booked in advance! Then I had to wait 15 minutes just to request a pitch change. Took an hour from arriving to be on a suitable pitch. Showers and washing up good with plenty of hot water. The experience was let down by late night noise 2 nights running up to 1am by a noisy group with no staff monitoring or control of late night traffic movement. We were near the motorhome service point and were alarmed at the speed of passing traffic especially when there are young children riding around on bikes.
