Huttopia Sarlat

Had a wonderful 3 week stay in a tent on this campsite. We chose a confort plus pitch (large, electric hook-up and picnic table) because of the length of our stay. It was peaceful and beautiful, we were surrounded by nature. It’s in a great location although we never did brave the walk to Sarlat (all uphill on the way back) because it was 30-37 degrees while we were there and our dog would not have coped!). We’ll be back next year!

Lovely terraced site in a rural location on the edge of Sarlat. 10 minutes walk into the mediaeval centre. 15 to 20 minutes return (uphill) Steep site access roads so choose an appropriate pitch. Lots of shade. Mixed sex Toilets are clean have seats and paper, decent showers, nice swimming pools, friendly staff. No shop, no restaurant (June) but simple bar and bread orders. We liked it very much. Sarlat itself is touristy but tasteful. Huge Saturday farmers market

Our favorite campground in our month long France trip. There is so much to do in the area. Normally we stay 2-3 nights. Easily could be 7 nights and have plenty to do. Great pizza! Friendly people. Not sure why this is not a 5star.
