Hyatt Centric Congress Ave Austin

An incredible stay from start to finish. The property feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Everything—from the common areas to the guest rooms—was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The fitness center was a standout, with a great variety of modern equipment and plenty of space to get a full workout in. As a Globalist, I was thrilled to be proactively upgraded to the Artist’s Residence, and I have to say—it’s hands down one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Spacious, beautifully appointed, and full of character, it made the stay feel truly special. The location is another huge highlight. Sitting right on Congress Avenue, you’re just steps away from some of Austin’s most iconic spots—like the Paramount Theatre, the Texas State Capitol, and 6th Street. It’s incredibly walkable, and there are tons of restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions nearby. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. Every single team member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Their attention to detail and kindness made me feel welcome throughout my entire stay. This is easily one of my favorite hotels in Austin, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Thank you to the entire team for making it such a memorable experience!

Ben and his valet team are super helpful. Location is great. Rooms are nice but odd shaped. Service is good. However, only one elevator out of three was working - with no estimate on when the other two malfunctioning elevators would be fixed (July '26). As such, all hotel guests, workers and deliveries had to be transported via one elevator. Not ideal. If all three elevators were operational, then the property would rate 5 stars.

Had a good stay at Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin. I was happy when I was told that I was upgraded (but I believe I had already pre-paid for a slightly upgraded room) - however, when I walked in to the room I was surprised by the size of it. The small room was good enough for me as a solo traveler and everything was neat and tidy! I had good city views from my room. Agree with the customer service being very friendly!
