Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past two years and the service and attention to detail is always top notch. I specifically want to call out Annie at the bar, she’s incredibly friendly, remembers my drink order from two years ago(!) and always has a smile on her face. She makes my stay memorable every visit. When our group takes over the bar she’s always calm, efficient and most of all genuinely friendly. Thank you for always being the best part of my Portland trips!

We had an exceptional experience at the Hyatt Centric in Portland. The location is unbeatable—centrally located and perfect for exploring the city on foot. Whether we were headed to the Pearl District, grabbing a bite, or just taking in the local culture, we were in the heart of it all. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. The front desk team was warm, efficient, and helpful, and the valet staff made parking seamless and stress-free. Every interaction felt genuine and welcoming, which really set the tone for a great stay. Breakfast was another highlight. The options were hearty and filling, with a variety that suited different tastes. We especially appreciated that gratuities were already included in the bill—such a thoughtful and stress-free touch that let us just relax and enjoy the meal. A special shoutout to Annie at the bar—what a gem! She’s incredibly friendly, approachable, and has a fantastic sense of humor that added so much personality to the space. She made everyone feel welcome and brought great energy to the bar area each night. Overall, the Hyatt Centric Portland blends comfort, convenience, and excellent service effortlessly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We don't usually go for the nice hotels, but did this time and we will absolutely be staying here again next time we are in town. The front desk workers are friendly and above and beyond helpful. Answer any and all questions thoroughly. We had issues with the Google screen cast, and it turned out the system was having maintenance issues. They told us to feel free to rent movies charged to the room and the hotel would cover it. We had a cozy night with stress-free entertainment. The food and bartending staff were beyond incredible and are honestly the reason we would love to come again. They solved problems without us even asking or even knowing there was a problem. On our first morning, the breakfast was late. I was enjoying my drink and honestly didn't even notice, they still insisted on us having the breakfast for free. It was delicious too! The bed and pillows are comfortable and you can't beat the view of the city! Blackout curtains meant we slept comfortable and as much as we needed. We both have chronic pain issues and neither of us woke up with any back pain, which we often have when traveling. Everything was clean and fresh, and again the service was the best I've had at a hotel. The people make this place worth staying at.
