From check-in to housekeeping and dining, every staff member I encountered demonstrated genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. A special mention goes to the breakfast buffet: not only was the variety and quality of the food excellent, but the staff provided attentive, thoughtful service that made mornings a pleasure. A hotel can be architecturally impressive, but it’s the dedication and care of its team that creates a truly memorable stay. The staff at Hyatt Centric exemplify that perfectly. 5 stars – An Amazing Stay at Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu! I had such a fantastic experience at Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. One of the first pleasant surprises was the online check-in feature—super convenient and modern, making the whole arrival process seamless. Although the official check-in time was 3pm, we arrived at 12:30pm, and to our surprise, the room was already ready. Not only that, our luggage had been thoughtfully placed inside, and waiting for us was a lovely birthday cake—such a warm and personal touch that truly made the stay unforgettable! The room was stylish and spotless, with a chic, contemporary design and a stunning view of Kota Kinabalu. I especially loved the cozy atmosphere—it was the perfect space to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every detail. I had the best time spending quality moments with my cousins—from enjoying the room to exploring the city, it was the perfect blend of comfort and fun. If you’re visiting KK and want a stay that’s both luxurious and thoughtful, I highly recommend Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu. Can’t wait to return!

My husband and I had a one-night stay at Hyatt centric during his business trip, and I must say it was an excellent experience. This was our first time choosing this hotel — we usually stay at our regular place — but after this visit, I’ll definitely be returning here for every trip to KK. The location is perfect, just a 3-minute walk across from Suria and easily accessible for Grab pickups. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. A special thanks to the staff member who promptly assisted me when I had an issue opening the door — truly helpful and efficient. Breakfast was a solid 10/10, offering a wide variety of dishes including Korean, Malay, Chinese, and Western options. The kueh were especially delightful. Great view as well. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would rate all aspects 10/10. Special thanks and compliments to Ms. Aini (the hostess during breakfast on 9th August 2025) and Ms. Chin, who assisted us during checkout and was very helpful and welcoming. I also wish to acknowledge the staff member who checked us in on the evening of 8th August 2025 — warm, professional, and provided all the necessary information for our stay (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name).
