Hyatt Centric Lakeside Ningbo

Wish to have it in the center

I visited Ningbo several times both for business and leisure, and Hyatt Centric has always been my first choice due to loyalty to Hyatt program as well as great location by the Tongxin Lake. However, my recent stay experience was poor. First and foremost, loud karaoke noise outside the hotel, and it can be heard very clearly even on the 11th Floor until 8.00 PM! I don't understand why there were karaoke show out there around the hotel, which was very annoying! Secondly, mosquitoes can be found in lobby and rooms! It ruined my sleep for two nights! Finally, staff at reception seem very inexperienced and inhospitable! I didn't even get a welcome greet for my discoverist title. Very disappointed experience!

The hotel looks nothing like on the images. Pool was under construction when visiting, in the gym there was numerous not protected cables sticking out of the machines, for one of my colleagues toilett wasn t working, breakfast was horrible (like literally the worst I have ever had in a Chinese 5 Star international hotel) with the only thing I personally found edible being the fresh fruit. None of the personell speaks English. We hated it so much we checked out early (on a positive note they let us do that despite booked for another night). Rooms are ok (matress) but no useful things are provided (no cotton pads, no body lotion etc:). Super sub par for a 5 Star hotel and a Hyatt in particular. Never again!
