Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale

This was our second time staying at this hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location — bars, restaurants, shops and the waterfront are all within walking distance. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed, mattress and pillows were super comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly. It would be nice to have a microwave in the room and allow guests to use the luggage carts themselves.

Had an excellent experience at this hotel. Located at a central location in downtown Las Olas, you are within walking to distance to restaurants, bars, and shopping. I asked for a room facing the river and they were happy to oblige. One thing to note, it can be a little loud in the room at night. You are in Downtown. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday was noticeably quieter. To combat this they offer ear plugs and have a white noise machine in the room, which were very helpful. The Harborwood bar/restaurant was excellent as well. We had drinks at the bar and got food to go. Room service is not currently available, but you can call ahead of time to order the food and they will notify you when ready for pickup. 40$ for overnight Valet is a little steep, but service was prompt and friendly. This is par for the course at hotels in this bustling area. In my opinion, this was a worthy trade off to be in the middle of it all. The hotel is a few miles away from the beach and they offer towels/chairs/umbrellas as part of the Destination Fee (25$ a night). Overall, I would recommend as a couples getaway.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. In June, stayed in a hotel in Miami that had creepy crawlers in the bed so, I came into this pretty anxious and terrified of what I may find. However, the hotel was extremely clean and well tended. The customer service and communication was excellence. The amenities were great-I spent a lot of time hanging out at the pool, sipping on cocktails-incredibly peaceful. The location was perfect, close to the airport and walkable to many shops and restaurants. While there, I booked another stay for September. Can’t wait to go back!
