Hyatt Centric Melbourne

I changed my reservation from another hotel to the Hyatt Centric just before my trip to Melbourne, and I must say—it was the best decision I could have made. As a newly built hotel, the interior was exceptionally clean and elegantly designed. The staff were also incredibly friendly, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The city view from the room was absolutely stunning. And on the morning of checkout, I was especially grateful to the Korean staff member I met at the restaurant — she was so thoughtful and attentive. (Of course, all of the staff were kind and friendly!) 😊 If any of my friends were planning a trip to Melbourne, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to them.

My spouse planned a surprise staycation on my birthday and what can I say - this was the best stay we've had and what a beautiful experience!! Right from check-in to room service and the view from inside the room and the setup of the room - everything was just perfect! We even had a swim in the pool with our toddler and he too loved the place! Special mention to Stevie at the check-in desk for the wonderful welcome and the seamless checkout! Also making sure we celebrated my birthday with a bottle of red!! Such small and meaningful gestures go a long way and thank you for making us feel so extra special!! 😊🙏 All in all a wonderful and refreshing experience!! Robin

Hotel Nice looking hotel in the center of CBD. Front reception area and the rooms are clean and well presented. There is a beautiful restaurant and bar in the top floor with a nice view of the city. The restaurant got a beautiful ambiance and warm lighting. The hotel also has a beautiful pool area and a gym. It’s an indoor pool and heated, perfect place to relax and chill. Rooms are pretty clean and beautifully presented. Service The staff were friendly in the front reception and also the staff in the restaurant were super friendly and nice too. Food The food in the restaurant is not the best, can improve on the taste. Breakfast buffet is pretty expensive $40 and it’s just a simple buffet nothing special about it. Buffet does not include tea either. There is also a menu to select food from, which is also not the best with my experience. Overall Yes I will come stay in the hotel again, but pick a different location for food. Great location, pool is awesome and great staff.
