Hyatt Centric Midtown 5th Avenue New York

I had an amazing stay at Hyatt Centric Midtown! From check-in to check-out, everything exceeded my expectations. The front desk team was incredibly friendly and made me feel genuinely welcome the moment I walked in. They were also super helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable—the bed was especially cozy, and I slept better than I have in a long time! I also loved the stylish decor and thoughtful amenities, like the Nespresso machine and spacious bathroom. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Midtown, close to great dining, shopping, and attractions, but still quiet enough to feel like a retreat after a long day exploring the city. I travel often, and this has definitely been one of my favorite hotel experiences in a while. I’ll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip and would recommend Hyatt Centric Midtown to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service!

Overall, this hotel is suitable for short stays with a great location, offering a quiet escape from city noise. The rooms are adequately sized but lack sufficient clothing storage. The gym is small, and free room drinking water is only available to members. The lobby is compact, and the front desk’s placement near the entrance causes crowding, with just four people making the area feel very busy. No chance to snap the hotel due to busy day.

UPD: there were some issues, yet hotel did follow up regarding my feedback, which is appreciated. Room was spacious, with a working desk, but there was a shower instead of pre-ordered room with a bath. I could hear conversation in the room door... Conditioning system is loud, as for Hyatt hotels. Check-in staff was very friendly. Breakfast staff was amazing 😍 - the main reason the review here is not 2 stars. Rooftop was really nice, cozy and pricey. Not many people - just the way we like. The salmon there was terrific, drinks start at $20 per drink. Staff at rooftop was so nice, we came back few times. Overall I won't go back to stay here - better to go a few blocks but stay in a newer and a bit better hotel.
