Hyatt Centric Montréal

Really enjoyed everything about the hotel. Walking distance to the center of the town. Room is modern, spotless, great view. Quiet!! Needs brighter lights. Nice fluffy towels and nice bed linens. Air conditioning is not as strong as we would like. Probably working overtime because it was quite a heatwave when we were there. Good amount of storage spaces. Bathroom was big with a nice automatic night light. Great view from the roof top pool although the pool water is a bit cloudy. Great stay. Would love to come back again.

Nice, modern rooms that are very quiet at night. Service was very friendly from check-in to check-out. Parking was easy and we just left the car in the underground garage for our whole stay ($25/day). The hotel bar has very friendly staff and good drinks, as well as a nice view of the courtyard. The location is perfect being right in Old Montreal, near the Gay Village and public transportation.

Overall, an okay place to sleep. Our room was clean, there was good coffee and tea to be had in room, the bathroom was tidy and well stocked. The bedding is fairly nice, and everything is comfortable. There were several incredibly bright motion-activated night lights that affected our sleep quality, apparently there's no way to turned them off. The location is convenient. Easy walking distance to many attractions, shops, and restaurants, we didn't have to drive anywhere. The view of the river was fairly nice from the 6th floor. However, you have to pay for absolutely everything else. We had to pay extra to have a nice view. We paid to park in a very basic underground spot. We ended up paying $15 to watch a movie from 2007 because entertainment was incredibly limited. The movie had to be watched within 24 hours, and you could only view it once. What kind of rental policy is that for a 4 star hotel? Breakfast was $26 a person for what amounted to a continental breakfast in a fancy outfit. This was the biggest rip off in the place, do not eat here, find anywhere else and I'm sure there will be better value. If you're adamant you need to be in this location, it will work, but keep your credit card ready, you'll need it.
