Hyatt Centric SouthPark Charlotte

Stayed here for three nights for an impromptu anniversary getaway. Location is perfect, right across the street from South Park mall and plenty of eateries and shops nearby. Hotel has a spacious gym on the top floor. The room is decent and nicely decorated. Would have been nice if they give you a real coffee mug instead of paper cups. But overall, a clean and comfortable stay.

Went away with my husband for a few days and we are so happy and pleased with our stay. From the moment we got in , we were greeted and helped. We are Hyatt members. So we were able to do a partial check in through our phones. The rest was done there. *Just a note because I wasn’t aware or didn’t pay attention the incidental fee for each night you stay is $75. * Okay so the hotel is beautiful. Love the steps leading to the second floor where this a coffee bar in the morning and transitions to actual bar at night. I tired their pineapple punch ! Omg that was delicious. There’s also a Sushi restaurant on the 9th floor with roof top. We only had drinks - no food so I can’t speak on the food. I wasn’t impressed with the drink menu. So not something I would go to again. Maybe just to check out the food. Hard maybe. Def go to the bar on floor 2 and try that PINEAPPLE PUNCH! You have to use your key card in order to go to your room /restaurant. We got to our room and had. Nice view on the top floor. Love the shower. I mean the whole room was awesome! Bed was comfy. Pillows were good. Robe in room. Non noise from other guest and we were far from the elevator. I like white noise so I can’t speak on noise at night but I highly doubt any since we did go to bar and when we came back it was quiet. Everyone was very friendly that helped us. Parking is provided /under ground across the street. They also offer valet. They have snacks and drinks to purchase at the lobby. I am so happy with our stay and will be returning. Also recommend the restaurant next door and the spa. Location was great. The mall is close by. I love how the mall has luxury stores also.

Enthusiastic, well trained help. Good location, close to food, shopping. Small, clean rooms, best for one guest, cramped for a couple. For the business traveler, there is no chair but instead a small desk that you work at from bedside. Good gym. Two in house, on site restaurants, one fair, one on the top floor excellent. Parking in a ramp is free and you must enter your license place # on a screen in the lobby every time you leave and return. Curious enough to try a Hyatt Centric again, although the $300/night price, if it is similar in other markets, will probably deter me. Hyatt hasn’t provided enough value for that cost.
