Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach

Came here for a little staycation to celebrate my husband's birthday! The staff was always kind and helpful. The room was cute and clean. We did have a bit of a delay getting a crib in our room for our son but were able to help us quickly when we contacted them about it again which we appreciated. We mainly came here for the pool and it was lovely and virtually empty both times we used it. The pool bar was not open when we were there but I believe it's open on the weekends and maybe also potentially weekdays once the summer hits? Had plenty of chairs available for us to use in the shade and we loved swimming in the heated pool with our son. There's an outdoor shower to rinse off in and the two private/individual bathrooms were large and clean which was perfect to be able to change in. The hotel is virtually part of the shopping center at the Pike which made it close for walking to the aquarium which was our only other destination for the stay. There's parking at the nearby structure and it also has EV parking which we appreciated. They are able to validate $3 off when you stay 6 hours or less and I believe its a max rate of $16 which is pretty reasonable given most hotels will charge around $25 per night. Mostly large chain restaurants around that are walking distance but you're driving distance to way better food. We will definitely be looking into buying a day pass for the pool when our son is a little bit older!

Seriously one of the best experiences. I travel for work a lot and this was one of the smoothest experiences. Check-in and check-out were lightning quick, rooms are updated and clean, bathroom/shower were nice, market on first floor was accommodating and had a variety of options. The only issue was the speed of the elevator, possibly the slowest, but it was bearable. Walkable location.

I stayed at Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach the night before heading to Catalina Island, and it was a great choice for a quick stopover. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of The Pike Outlets, just steps from Rainbow Harbor and a short walk to the ferry terminal. The rooftop pool was a highlight, offering stunning 360° views of Long Beach, perfect for unwinding with a drink from the bar (though it’s seasonal, so check ahead). The room was modern and clean, with comfy beds and a sleek bathroom featuring a rainfall shower. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze.
