Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit 1

This is my new favorite hotel in Bangkok. It’s in a great location with tons of restaurants nearby as well as being close to the BTS. Great malls within an easy walk. The rooms are big, modern, and comfortable with floor to ceiling windows. I especially like the desk space with a real office chair for doing work. It’s a low story building but the soundproofing is great and I don’t hear any road noise. The bed is more comfortable than many other Bangkok hotels that I’ve stayed in. This will be one of my top choices next time I’m in Bangkok and looking for a reasonably priced hotel. This hotel is an excellent value if you want a good location and don’t care about amenities such as a pool.

I extended my solo trip from one night to two. At check-in around 5 PM, I requested a high floor room but had to wait 10 minutes for cleaning, despite rooms supposedly being ready by 2 PM. When I asked for late checkout until 1 PM the next day, the night staff refused, citing a large group checking in. While I understood their reasoning, I was disappointed by the inflexibility over just one extra hour, especially after being patient with the initial room delay. Not highly recommended for this price. No breakfast, gym or swimming pool. 🙂

I use to stay there all the time but now it's kinda going downhill 😕 cleanliness its not very good , the air conditioner its extremely loud, also I set the temperature at 24 and went to sleep and I wake up at 18 degrees. I put my phone and all my devices to charge overnight and when you press the master lights button it's turn on not just lights in the room but also the power sockets , so it was nice surprise to wake up and have no battery in my phone and power bank with full day ahead. Its sad th3 location its great and the rooms are nice and big but recently seems like its not been taking care of. Definitely not going back there is better option in the area for even better price !
