Convenient, comfortable, and kind staff. I stayed here a little over a week on credit card points while enjoying Australia with a friend. The staff was always hospitable and friendly during my stay. The room provided everything I could ask for - a desk, comfortable bed, and excellent temperature control. Not far from the hotel is one of the best grocery stores I’ve ever been to - La Manna. They have plenty of freshly prepared foods, a relaxing cafe with great coffee, and good selections. I requested for the staff to provide amenities for my friend to stay with me 1 night before we flew out at the airport then next day, and they went above and beyond with the request of preparing everything. Thank you much for my long and pleasant stay. I’d highly recommend others to this Hyatt location because of the affordability, convenience, hospitality, and local food options.

More than adequate for an overnight airport hotel. Nice gym. Comfy rooms. Slightly luxurious even. The Manager (Gareth I think) was always busy helping out other staff, and talking and interacting guest. Goes out of his way to help. Highly commendable.

One of the highlights for me was the gym – it's well-equipped, clean, and had everything I needed for a full workout, which is rare to find in hotel gyms. The breakfast was another standout. A generous selection of hot and cold options, fresh fruit, pastries, and more. The quality was impressive, and the coffee was absolutely spot on – rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed every morning. Location-wise, it couldn’t be more ideal. It's just a short drive to the airport, which made my travel days so much easier. Plus, being close to major shopping centres like DFO Essendon and not far from the Melbourne CBD made it super convenient for both work and leisure. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff were genuinely fantastic – friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile, which really added to the overall experience. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields – it’s a perfect base with excellent amenities, amazing staff, and a fantastic location.
