Great hotel with excellent service and a perfect location in the city. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with an amazing view of the city skyline. The metro is less than 5 minutes away, and you can reach Times Square in about 15 minutes. There are also plenty of nice cafes, restaurants, and stores nearby. Breakfast was good and included several options. Definitely, I would definetely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC!
The location of this hotel was my favorite part. Not necessarily the street itself , a bit rough around the edges but that has nothing to do with the hotel (just be warned). We wanted to be in this area near midtown to travel uptown/downtown easily and it did not dissapoint! Subway stations nearby! Our empire state king bed room on the 39th floor was great! Clean but compact. I do wish they made a smaller seating area to have more space to place luggage - there really is not alot of space to leave your bags otherwise (we had 2 carry on suitcases) considering our room was right in front of the elevator I expected it to be loud but that was not the case! Speaking of the elevator......there are 4 but as many other reviews said, they can take ages to get up/down certain times of day. I dont really know if there is much of a solution for that but I know it was something we often gripped about. We joined the busy breakfast buffet 1/3 days , it was fine but busy as expected..sometimes hard to find a seat. I would return for the location!
If you are reading this, please just book another hotel and save yourself the trouble. The location is excellent, and the room was clean. That's the only thing I can say that is good about this hotel. The rooms are small. There was an extremely loud elevator noise in the room, and on top of that, the AC is very loud. It was impossible to sleep, so we asked if we could get a new room, and we did. The new room was in the corner, so at least the elevator noise was a bit better. But the AC was still just crazy loud.
