I recently stayed at the Hyatt in Long Island City for a few nights, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From check-in to check-out, the service was absolutely amazing. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome. Every request I had was handled quickly and with a smile, which made my stay feel effortless and relaxing. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a great view of the city skyline. The location is also super convenient—close to the subway and just minutes from Manhattan, but still quiet enough to enjoy a good night’s sleep. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in New York. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!
Some of these ratings here are just false! This hotel was an absolute blast. The rooms were nice and comfy and enough space for 3 people with luggage. The sofabed was clean and absolutely ok. Most importantly: it's a 5 Min walk to time square. Breakfast was very good for an US breakfast and waiting times were basically non-existent although we had long queues every morning and we always got a nice table for 5 person.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel this one is necessary. Unfortunately, my stay at Hyatt Place New York was disappointing. The breakfast lacked flavor, had very few options, and felt rushed—staff started clearing tables before guests had even finished eating, which was uncomfortable. The hotel overall felt disorganized and poorly maintained. Common areas and public restrooms were not clean, and the room’s air conditioning was extremely loud, making it hard to rest. Clearly, it needs better upkeep and attention to detail. I expected more from the Hyatt brand. Hopefully, management will take steps to improve the experience.
