Hyatt Raipur

Good infrastructure, managed by excellent staff. Hotel’s strength is its attentive team of people, be it the front desk, housekeeping or the restaurant. Location is a big plus because of close proximity to the airport and access to the mall down below.

Hyatt Raipur holds the reputation of being the only 5-star hotel in the city, and naturally, expectations are high. I recently stayed here in Room 704, but my experience this time was not as great as I had anticipated. The hotel feels quite old now, and the fit and finish are not up to the mark for a Hyatt property. The rooms show signs of ageing, with uneven and cracked surfaces and walls that clearly need repainting. The bath area and toilet section felt very cramped, which impacted overall comfort. During my stay, the hotel was under renovation, which perhaps affected the usual standards of upkeep and services. Even the breakfast spread was quite limited compared to what you generally expect from a 5-star Hyatt property.

Pathetic Room.. One room AC was not working the technician comes and does something it works temporarily. He also asks the error would be for long… Next day when i demand a change of room they shift me to a smoking room. Which was like to punish me..: After that there were mosquitoes in the room.. asked for a mosquito replant at 2 am. They took ages to send to the room destroying the entire peace and sleep that one wants when it comes to good hotels…
