Hyatt Regency Austin – Great Stay Despite Renovations We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Austin in mid-July and had a really good experience. Yes, there were plenty of renovations happening, but honestly, they didn’t bother us at all. If anything, it’s exciting to see the upgrades in progress—this place is going to look fantastic when it’s all finished. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The hotel is perfectly located, right on the lake and just a short walk to see the bats fly out from under the Congress Street Bridge—such a cool Austin experience. The pool was a highlight, with a beautiful view of the downtown skyline, especially at night. Overall, even with the construction, this was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would definitely come back once the renovations are complete!

Wow. Amazing. This place has everything one would expect and more!!! The rooms were great, spacious, however a couch would have been nice instead of the very long desk they gave us. The service was amazing. One morning, they had complimentary donuts that were very good, I could taste the quality. I saw a previous review complaining they had no free water bottles. Well, near the lobby, they have a free water purifier and dispenser. This water was amazing, it went through so much and had so much quality, and it was completely free! They also had free issues of the Austin Chronicle. There is a parking garage that is large and easy to navigate and has plenty of spaces. This whole hotel was amazing, def stay when in Austin. The layout of rooms is also very striking and amazing, and they have the very top floor open to admire the view.

We had an excellent stay here in May! The location is excellent right next to the river and the "bat bridge". The service was great, and as a Globalist we were upgraded to a balcony room and given a lovely welcome amenity of local beers and snacks! The breakfast was good, everything was clean and worked well! Highly recommend!
