If I could award 7 stars, not just 6, out of 5 stars for service, I would. Beginning with the doorman to reception to maid service to the restaurant and lounge staff the service was exceptional!! They were always friendly, attentive, and extremely positive. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Stayed on the 17th floor, views are amazing, rooms are clean and well organised. Soap, shampoo and conditioner are well supplied and smell amazing. The towels are folded and stored neatly. Add the breakfast to your stay, food is fresh and fantastic, if you want pancakes or eggs cooked a particular way they do this for you. They bring coffee or tea to the table. Fresh squeezed juice and smoothies are at the bar. Service is fantastic, attentive and professional. If you request any utensils to the room or order room service a £5 fee will apply to every order

Hyatt Regency Birmingham – Great Location, But With Some Frustrations I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Birmingham city centre, and while there are definitely some positives, a few key issues made the experience less enjoyable than expected. On the plus side, the hotel itself is modern, clean, and well-located for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff were generally professional and helpful. The breakfast was good, and the facilities like the bar and spa were decent. However, there are several downsides worth mentioning: 1. Parking: The on-site car park is practically useless. It's tiny, hard to navigate, and always full. Don't bother with it—your best bet is to park at the large, reliable multi-storey behind the Leonardo Hotel just up the road. Much easier and far less hassle. 2. Club Lounge Chaos: If you have access to the lounge, don't expect a peaceful experience during peak hours. It gets so busy in the evenings that there’s often nowhere to sit, making it feel more like a crowded café than an exclusive lounge. The hotel really needs to either expand the space or manage the number of guests allowed in at once. 3. Noise at Night: Due to the hotel’s central location, be prepared for a lot of noise in the early hours—especially on weekends. The area is surrounded by bars and clubs, and I was woken up multiple times by rowdy guests returning late at night. At one point, someone even knocked on my door at 3 a.m., which was pretty unsettling. Overall, the Hyatt Regency Birmingham has potential, and there are definitely things to like about it—but for the price, the noise issues, chaotic lounge, and poor parking make it hard to fully recommend unless you're staying mid-week and not relying on a car.
