I don’t agree with many of the recent reviews on here. We had an excellent stay. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. People have been complaining about the elevators on here. There are three of them. The middle one was not operating but the other two were. Never once had any type of wait outside of the ordinary to call one. Service was good. Pool is smallish but honestly all hotel pools built within the last few years are getting small. Loved the access to the light rail which the station is about 50 yards away. We were in town for a couple of baseball games and the rail line goes straight in to Target Field. Also services US Bank stadium during football season. Yes, they charge $15 a day to park but it’s an airport hotel and it’s on the website. That’s on you if you didn’t read about it. Same with the cleaning staff. They only clean your room once every three days. Not only does it say it on the website but I got two emails before my stay again reminding me about the parking charges and cleaning staff rules. And you can always tell them at the front desk if you want your room cleaned. I swear people like the complain just to hear themselves. I really liked this hotel.

The rooms are very spacious. However, a proper buffet breakfast would be appreciated, the service is really slow in the morning, even for a simple omelet. The gym is far too small and poorly equipped for such a large hotel. The pool is more like a children's pool, barely 1 meter deep, making it impossible to swim.

Alright so I could have rated this hotel A LOT higher, but there are just too many issues. The people were great - they just don't have much to work with. The double queen room is poorly designed. There's a super narrow area right inside the door which wouldn't have to be that way, but that's what someone decided, I guess. There is 1 small, round table in the room where there could be a fairly large table underneath the TV like most other hotels I've seen. One elevator was down when we were there so if it's busy, that means waiting in line for awhile. We would have rather taken the stairs, but the back stairway leads into the kitchen area which means you can go out, but not back in (i.e. can't get there from the lobby. Ice is supposedly only on even-numbered floors, but they don't even have ice machines. Just these weird rooms with a microwave and these metal bins for ice, but I don't think they're refrigerated so the floor was just wet from ice melting. So strange. The grounds were very-nicely kept with a nice grassy area in front and great walkway/patio that leads down to the train. We didn't pay for train fares to the mall the whole time we were there. No one ever asked and it's only 1 stop in-between. We paid with credit card points so it was fine, but I'd have been a little upset if we had to use cash. Bottom line, if you want to be close to the mall and can get a decent room rate, stay here. Expect nice people and be aware of the things I've noted.
