This hotel is in a great location, and they really take care of the details. The club rooms have a nice selection of snacks and breakfast, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s a great place for families to spend time together.
We have been here quite a few times, and EVERYONE is so helpful and attentive. They make you feel like you belong. Rooms are great and it's in a great location. Can't say enough good things about this hotel and the people who work there.
Beautiful Views, Delicious Food, and Great Service — But Be Aware of Guest Rules I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Cartagena and overall had a fantastic experience. The location is stunning — panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, a sleek infinity pool setup, and close proximity to Old Town Cartagena. The food at the hotel was excellent. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet — lots of variety, fresh tropical fruit, and strong Colombian coffee. Room service and the restaurant options were top-notch as well. Every meal felt like it was prepared with care. And the staff? Incredibly professional, warm, and attentive throughout my stay. Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. That said, there are some quirky hotel policies guests should be aware of. If you’re thinking of inviting a friend or colleague to hang out with you at the pool or visit your room — even just for a short while — the hotel enforces a very strict rule against it. I understand the need for security and guest privacy, but the policy felt a bit rigid at times. It’s worth checking with the front desk ahead of time if you plan to have visitors. All in all, I’d definitely stay again for the views, service, and food — just be mindful of the guest access rules if you’re planning to socialize.
