I was in town for a business meeting and only got to stay in this hotel for one night. I wish it could have been longer. The person who checked me in was Brandon, he was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and clean. It had a great library and a pool and Jacuzzi which I did not have time to use, but looked very inviting. My room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable and I had the best night sleep I’ve had in a long time! I loved the bedding so much that I’m going to be purchasing my own set. The only negative was that when I used the phone in the room to call the front desk for more supplies for coffee but it only rang and they didn’t answer. I used my personal phone to call. They were quick and brought it to me right away and I appreciated that. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Marriott!!

We have stayed here several times. This hotel is good, very friendly staff and nice location. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. Has a nice pool and well equipped workout room. Has a library with books from Iowan authors.

This hotel is in a very convenient location. There are many restaurants right outside of the hotel. The event center is walking distance. Parking was available in a garage next door that is walking distance from the hotel. I believe parking was $8 a night. When you walk in the lobby is renovated, beautiful, and grand but the rooms are are very outdated. They felt old and musky and very different than the lobby. I’m very picky about the cleanliness of hotel rooms and this one was okay. There were stains on some of the furniture (couch). There was a mint wrapper on the desk that did not belong to us. There was hair that did not belong to us on the sheets and on the shower wall. The hotel room walls were also very very thin. I could hear my neighbor open a bag of chips. I would maybe stay again for the convenience but it would be nice if they updated their rooms. They could use just about new everything.
