Hyatt Regency Dar Es Salaam

We have not stayed at the hotel. We have gone for many, Many Sunday Brunches. The quality and freshness of the food is always fantastic. The selection is so massive to boot. I highly recommend the Bruch for special occasions

It was a wonderful stay, stunning sea views, a solid breakfast with great quality despite a smaller selection, and top notch facilities like the gym and pool. The room itself was a bit compact, but the view made up for it. We had a hiccup at check-in when our request for twin beds wasn’t initially fulfilled, and it took a while to sort out. Also, when you call the reception, they don’t often answer the calls or accommodate the request. Special thanks to Joan for stepping in and turning things around, her support really elevated our experience.

While the ambiance at the Hyatt was inviting and the service courteous, the dining experience left much to be desired—particularly when it came to the steak. Unfortunately, the cut I was served was astonishingly tough—comparable in texture to a well-worn shoe sole. Attempting to cut through it required such force that it caused the plate to shift with each motion, turning what should have been a pleasurable meal into a frustrating effort. For a hotel of Hyatt’s calibre, one expects a level of culinary finesse that was, regrettably, absent on this occasion.
