Incredible service. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Rooms were very clean and cozy. Would have liked to have a microwave in suite. Pool was perfect temp and clean. Didn't get to the other 2 restaurants but would go back and explore more in and around the hotel. Seemed to be centrally located to a lot of food options.
We had an inside room with a view overlooking the atrium area. It was at the ed of the hallway so it was shaped differently. Very clean and quiet. There's a mini fridge. No microwave, but you can request one. The hotel is connected to the convention center via a skywalk. It is within walking distance of Lucas Oil.
I had two issues with my 3-night stay this past weekend. (1) After explicitly and multiple times telling the lady at check-in not to charge the room to my debit card, but instead to the company business card it was indeed all charged to my debit card and now I have a 700 dollar hold on my debit card that will not be released for 10-12 days. I tried to discuss this with someone at checkout and was dismissed. I tried calling today, and they told me to call my bank. The bank is not the problem; your original mistake, not listening to a guest explicitly telling you not to charge their debit card, is the problem. No one even apologized. I'm a teacher, and having $700 held for that long is a huge stressor. (2) Housekeeping was very strange. One day, they didn't make up the bed but took my dirty towels. The next day, they made the bed but left the dirty towel. I am sure this is caused by not hiring enough people for such a large hotel. The hotel itself and the rooms are fine, but I would never stay there again because of the staff's inability.
