This hotel really hits all the marks. I was a little worried at first when they gave me a 1st floor room since it’s located in the “party” area of Malta. The hotel is in fact a block or so away from the noise and craziness. The windows and wall also have good sound insulation, I did not encounter any noise issues during the day or night. The room was spacious, clean, modern and new. The staff were nice and professional. The breakfast was excellent; with good spread and tasty. I was able to get a good deal through Hyatt for USD$200/night including breakfast. The breakfast is usually €25/person. Overall, highly recommend staying here if coming to Malta.
I would like to express my utmost satisfaction with my stay. The hotel is excellent, offering great comfort and a fantastic location. I would especially like to thank the staff — in particular, Anna, who I believe is the manager. She was extremely friendly and gave me several great tips about Malta, which made my vacation even better. Thank you!
After careful research, we chose this hotel as the best option for us. And it delivered, especially if you're a family-oriented traveler or someone looking for a cozy atmosphere. We didn’t realize before booking that the hotel is near the party zone, but once we arrived and walked around, we saw that many so-called “high-end” hotels are right next to noisy, rather unpleasant streets. We were genuinely relieved we chose the Hyatt—its elevated location by the church offers peace, great views from the balcony, and a welcome contrast to the busy surroundings. The breakfast was included and delicious, and the staff were consistently friendly. The view from our window overlooking the church tower was lovely, and the balcony was a great bonus. The rooms were clean, the overall mood of the hotel was peaceful, and the restaurant seating and pricing offered a very pleasant, relaxed experience. If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the dinner menu and offerings in the club lounge—it felt a quite limited and not in line with the otherwise high standard of the hotel. Overall, a great place to stay in Malta.
