Incredible Stay – Highly Recommend! We had an amazing experience at this beautiful Hyatt in Hawaii. We asked for a room upgrade and were pleasantly surprised with an ocean view—absolutely stunning! The staff was beyond kind and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Perfect for families (our daughter had a blast) or couples looking for a romantic getaway. We loved walking the beach to the gym and working out with ocean views. Gorgeous sunsets, great amenities, and top-notch service. We can’t wait to come back!
Hyatt Regency Maui is a beautiful, well-maintained property with lush landscaping and a relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed seeing the swans and penguins on-site, though I’m not sure how ethical it is to have penguins in Maui. The grounds are spacious, with plenty of places to walk and take in the ocean views. The pools can get crowded, but we were still able to enjoy them during our stay. Breakfast was good, and the drinks were also well made. The servers were attentive and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. The location is excellent, right on Kaanapali Beach and close to shops, restaurants, and activities. Overall, a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.
Phenomenal property by the beach front. With that said you can see some deferred maintenance and the property is getting older. We had an ocean front view room with the balcony facing the ocean. The sun frayed furniture and carpets outside definitely needed to be changed. In room ceiling had some blacked molded spots due to the humidity here. But really I think room service could be more diligent. This didn't really have any issues at the W Hotel in Costa Rica and that was wayyyy more humid. First time I walked around the carpeted room and saw the bottom of my feet black. So we ended up calling room service for slippers. Asked for 3 but they gave us 2. Overall, the location is pure gold. Some TLC in the rooms would land a 5 Star. I'm glad I didn't upgrade to suites. If black spots showed up on the ceiling after I paid for even more upgrades that would've send this review over the plank board
