Overall experience was great. We were there for work. Our room was little stinky when we arrived, had to air it out. The bed coverings were not great. Real stiff fabric, not too comfortable, the pillows were too soft for me. Bathrooms were fine, just weird that the switch is outside the door. Pools were great, same with the hot tub. Conference food was average, a little salty for me. Staff was super friendly and polite.
Amazing resort and true hospitality in Newport Beach! From the moment we booked, the experience was exceptional. Annie Painting, the general manager, personally reached out to us before our stay, which truly set the tone. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The resort itself is beautiful...lush grounds, relaxing pools, and a peaceful, upscale atmosphere. Every staff member we encountered was professional and welcoming. It’s rare to find this level of genuine hospitality these days. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Newport Beach!
What a horrible expensive stay at this hotel. Online the room was listed for $200ish dollars, upon check in turns out the rate was $600, added to it, a $40 parking fee per entry to/from the lot. The room was clean, but tiny, with furniture from the 90’s and paper thin walls where all types of noises were easily heard morning and night. No complimentary breakfast options available, and an omelette at the restaurant came out to $40 if you added toast with your coffee (but the server was nice). Staff were mildly helpful at best, the gym had broken equipment for use, Overall, do not recommend staying there and do your research.
