From the moment I stepped out of the car, I was impressed with the Hyatt Hotel! The doorman helped us with our luggage, and walking into the lobby was a breath of fresh air—clean and absolutely stunning. Customer service from every staff member was top-tier. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious. I especially loved the complimentary wine tasting (just a heads-up: it’s one glass of wine per day. The hotel pick). They also give you a $5 voucher to use at their corner store, which was a nice touch. The hotel really seems to think of everything to make your stay comfortable. One thing that blew my mind—we were able to log in to our own Netflix account to watch shows. How nice is that? The location is also a major plus—everything is within walking distance. Each day, they had fresh fruit- or cucumber-lemon-infused water available in the lobby. Hands down, I loved staying here and would absolutely do it again!
Built over River Street, this modern hotel offers convenient access to the many great shops, bars, and restaurants in the area. The bar and restaurant within the hotel with live music is perfect after a long day of sight seeing with a balcony facing the south River Street area. There's also a large open sitting area facing the north River Street area. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds, dark sleep in curtains and smart TVs.
The location of this hotel is fantastic — right by the river, with easy access to everything. The food at the restaurant was great, and the staff there were super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated their service. However, I booked a river view room expecting a nice view, but it was not quite what I imagined. Half of the window was blocked by another building, and only a small part of the river was visible. Considering the river view rooms were priced at more than double the usual rate during the holiday period, I would have chosen a cheaper room or a different hotel if I had known this in advance. After I checked out, the hotel overcharged me — both nights were billed at the higher rate, even though my booking clearly showed different prices for each night. I had to call customer service myself to get the price corrected and the difference refunded. Overall, it was a so-so experience. Great location and good food, but not quite worth the premium in my case.
