Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago

Please note the room score. Service here was incredibly friendly. I am sure this is probably true for many good hotels, but they absolutely deserve praise for the amount of customer service provided. I do wish the rooms could be renovated a bit. The rooms are fine, but do smell a bit (not much). Windows or removal of carpet. Still, amazing service and satisfaction.

The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg recently hosted our family reunion of over 125 guests and the service we received was excellent...from our event planner to our on-site planner Rose, to Jorge, to the front desk, we were treated extremely well and they welcoming. The rooms need updating but the breakfast was fabulous. I would highly recommend. Thank you, thank you for hosting our PHP Family Reunion.

This review is not a reflection of the staff. They were great. If you’re looking for a peaceful weekend getaway this might not be the hotel for you. I decided to splurge a bit on a nicer hotel. Even “upgrade” to a corner room. 600 for 3 nights (Fri Sat Sun). That upgrade turned out to be a downgrade. There must have been some sort of dance team stating there which resulted in a ton of teen girls congregating in the area near the elevators and right outside of my room. They were doing like cartwheels qnd SCREAMING for HOURS. I’m not exaggerating. Walls are paper thin so I could hear everything. And not just hear a little bit. It was LOUD. I had to call multiple times. Staff was so nice and quick to come up and tell them to knock it off. But they would just come right back. Again, hotel is wipe nice (outside of the paper thin walls) and the staff is great. Just was not the relaxing weekend I was looking for.
