We spent 5 nights in this amazing hotel and it’s somewhere I’ll be dreaming about forever!! We had a gorgeous room at the beach house with a perfect ocean view. The grand size of the room was well appreciated and all the features were perfection. We were able to park our rental car right next door in the parking garage. Shuttle service to main area available 24h. Laundry services were easily accessible. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Dining options were great. Breakfast at the regency club was something I began to really look forward to in the mornings. I know others have mentioned it but the French toast truly is unforgettable. I even got the recipe from the chef himself! Hyatt never disappoints and this was certainly one of our favorite stays thus far! Thank you for your hospitality!
We spent the last 4 days of our two week vacation at the Hyatt. We had a two bedroom at the beach house section which we enjoyed. The room was clean, modern and I loved the floor to ceiling windows in the primary bedroom. The walk to the main building was a bonus for us surroundings were beautiful. There is also a golf cart shuttle that runs continuously. We also had a room in the main hotel building that was also beautiful. The staff kind and helpful. We never had problems finding a chair by the pool and enjoying the easy access to two beaches. We did the snorkeling excursions with our 7, 11 and 19 year old children. Everyone loved the experience, well worth it. We ate breakfast at the resort twice and used the online reservation system on the TV. Very easy and never waited more than15 minutes even when we were #20 in line. There are a few restaurants that are walkable from the hotel but we instead ate the “tapas” style menu and sat in the courtyard.
Huge disappointment. We are staying at the hotel right now. And we traveled through Japan and loved the country. This hotel is our last stop, relaxation week after lots of museums, parks, tours etc. First, almost nobody speaks basic English. I’m not expecting fluent English but this level of the hotel must have English speaking staff. Rooms are nice and clean. We went to hotel restaurant for lunch, we were immediately told they were fully booked ( half of the restaurant was empty). After seeing surprise on our faces they magically found a table for us. Food at the restaurant is served whenever chef feels like it. Meaning, they brought part of my order and entire family was just suppose to watch me eat? Or should we wait for the rest of the food to arrive while french fries become cold? So after about 30 minutes they brought two sandwiches for other family members and now I’m sitting and waiting for my food. They also originally brought wrong order. You absolutely can’t swim in the ocean It’s too shallow. Beach chairs are taken by people who don’t show up on the beach for hours. If a guest isn’t using beach chair for over 2 hours staff should remove their towels and let other guest use it. Absolutely normal practice at other resorts. Otherwise it looks like hotel prioritise some guests over others. With that policy nobody will have issue finding vacant space at the beach. Hotel’s job is to make guests feel home outside of home
