Stayed at Hyatt Regency Shanghai Global Harbor – a fantastic experience! The hotel boasts modern, spacious rooms with stunning city views. Conveniently located above Global Harbor Mall, it offers easy access to shopping, dining, and the metro. The breakfast spread is excellent, and the service is warm and professional. Ideal for both business and leisure stays in Shanghai!
Good property and location, the food is also good with a large breakfast spread with something for everyone. The front desk and room service are however below par. Not sure if it was a one off but we encountered almost a 30 min queue while checking in and room service took an hour or more to deliver food.
Literally just checked in, the front desk raised his voice on me for questioning how to connect to WiFi. I do not have a Chinese domestic phone number so I asked how to get online. He insisted that anyone could use any number, which got me confused. If I couldn’t receive SMS, how do I authenticate use any number? Why is it acceptable for the staff to yell at me for his own incompetency to explain such a simple service? Terrible training and management! Later I figured just login w/ your world of Hyatt member account would do.
