Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch

This is my first time ever at a Hyatt Regency. It is a super nice hotel and I love the convenient eating places within the hotel. It was probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in yet. I love the convenience of it being right beside the arch. I had requested a room with a view and I got it. My room was very clean put together well.

This hotel is beautiful, clean, and is staffed with friendly, helpful people. The location is nice, especially if you're planning to visit the arch. However, if you get a room with a view of the arch, be prepared for VERY LOUD road noise from the freeway. The racing cars and loud exhaust woke us up several times throughout the three nights we stayed, and for that reason we honestly could not wait to check out and go home. Again, the hotel itself is very nice and has some great amenities, but the freeway makes nights here somewhat miserable. The room and view were beautiful, but if you're looking for some peaceful rest at night, DO NOT select an arch-view room.

For the price, should be better. We did have a great view of the arch but the room was worn. Also, the pillows were hard and not comfortable at all. They also didn’t have the room we booked so put us in a lesser room but did give us two $25 breakfast vouchers. Headboards worn as reflected in pictures. The window shade has holes in it. Tile in bathroom was lifting up. Water pressure weak and very soft water. Parking is atrocious in the parking garage and costly. Elevators SLOW. Eggs and bacon minus the potatoes were very good.
