From the moment we arrived the staff were helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, even opening the gym up early for me each morning. The rooms were clean and tidy and cleaned each day without any fuss. The location of the pool to the hotel amenities was perfect and the gym well sited next to the pool. The long and sandy beach is really close, no more than a 2-3 minute stroll and from there a stroll along the beach front to the lively Marina - for more shopping! Looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for a great stay.
This was our second visit to this hotel, the first being for our honeymoon in 1999. Whilst the rooms are somewhat dated (still some of the same room and bathroom fittings from when we first visited) this should not detract from what is a wonderfully located and appointed hotel. Firstly, all of the staff were attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. When they found out it was our silver anniversary visit, we received a surprise bottle of fizz and chocolate covered strawberries. A really nice gesture. The best aspect of this hotel is the gardens to the rear. Plenty of space for both sun seekers and those preferring the shade. Always enough sun loungers and thankfully no early morning rush to reserve beds is necessary. Location wise, this place is perfectly situated. Close to the beach and marina but far enough that you can't hear the music etc. From the late night bars. Breakfast offering was excellent with something for every taste.
Hotel was ideal for our group of 4 golfers. The hotel was well situated close to bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was clean and well kept. The pool area was clean and tidy with plenty of loungers. Breakfast buffet was well stock with loads of selection from cooked breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal and pastries. The only negative was that our room was not ready to check into at 2:00pm as was agreed. However this was not the end of the world and the hotel provided us with some drinks tokens as a good will gesture. But overall we all had a good stay.
