I've been staying here for 25 years and always enjoy my stay. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The location is great. It is an easy walk to the Capitol and office buildings. The Mall and museums are just a few blocks away. Their breakfast buffet is outstanding, with a variety of food items available. The only negative is the cost of parking. The $60 per day charge is way too high.
We had a great time at the Hyatt this WE (Aug2-3). I was worried about construction noise but the fact is we did not hear a single noise in our remodeled room! It was very relaxing and we slept great. We have been coming for years and I love the remodeled rooms.
The staff at the hotel was exceptional. Samantha, the manager on duty, went above and beyond—she was helpful, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her outstanding service truly made my stay memorable. I always enjoy staying at the Hyatt Regency when I’m in D.C., and this visit was no exception. Even with the ongoing construction, the experience remained top-notch. I’ll definitely be back.
