Had a pleasant 2-day stay at Hycinth Hotel, Trivandrum. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming — from the reception to room service to the restaurant team, their customer service was top-notch. I really appreciated their support with a delayed checkout as well. Only downside was the breakfast – the spread didn’t quite match the standard you’d expect for the price. But overall, the way they greet and engage with guests truly made the experience memorable. Would stay again!
HYCINTH hotel is the perfect place to relax! Luxurious interior, modern amenities, and a stunning view from the window. The room was very comfortable, with excellent facilities and top-notch service. A great spot for family stays, with attention to every detail. The restaurant impressed with its variety and taste. The staff is polite and always ready to assist. A fantastic place for a romantic getaway or family vacation. I’ll definitely return!
The food was great—had the buffet, and hats off to the chef. The migrant staff were outstanding: hardworking, professional, and well-presented. However, the supervisor, identifiable by his black blazer, seemed disengaged. He appeared unkempt and spent a lot of time staring at us, which felt intrusive and uncomfortable. Even when our table needed cleaning, he simply stood by, instructing others instead of stepping in to help. He often stared while subtly communicating with another staff member, making the experience feel even more unsettling. It created a noticeable contrast between the efforts of the excellent team and the aloofness of upper management. That said, the welcome desk, outdoor staff, and migrant team inside were exceptional. This felt like either racial bias or ego at play.
