Hycroft Suites

My husband and I stayed at The Hunter House while in town for a concert, and it was awesome! The house is beautiful and cozy, truly a hidden gem like the other review said. The owner/staff/whomever we emailed with was super accommodating after our flights were canceled and we had to drive last minute 9hrs to make the concert in time, they answered every question we had and even made us little breakfasts to go since we were leaving early the next morning. Will 100% be staying there again next time we visit and hopefully get to bring our boys to try out their bunk beds, too!

I stayed at Hunter House for our holiday. I was happy with their hospitality but not with the facility. The room was so tiny and the pictures on the website were much more than the best version of itself. We used both bed and couch bed, and I had to step on the couch bed to go to bathroom during the night, which was really uncomfortable (even with family). Also they didn’t even have a kettle in the room. I understand Vancouver is expensive but my impression is they are overcharging for this facility.

The room was tiny. There's a wall right in the middle so a bed on one side and a couch and tv on the other. The couch is too low and the tv too high. There is zero walking space on either side of the bed. The room was so hot, no AC, just 2 little fans that didn't do much. Thankfully the windows opened but there were no screens to keep bugs and birds out. The bathroom shower door opens in with no place to put your stuff or prop up a leg, the toilet awkwardly faces the wall. The breakfast was so small and disappointing and was one of the reasons i chose this place to begin with as the reviews I read online raved about it. It was just 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, some spring mix and make your own toast. So overpriced and lame. The location also isn't great as it's not in a good neighborhood. All in all, 0/5.
